After travel restrictions were eased. A recent news article about flight booking to the US has rocketed above 2019 levels. Because of this, people started to resume activities again. Should I feel that excited? Are you excited too? I bet so!

Business investment opportunity and meeting people directly

Since the beginning of 2022, I’ve traveled on business trips to 2 European countries and 2 Southeast Asian countries (Excluding Singapore and Japan). Afterward, I’ve got a visiting plan of 5 countries within 2 biz trips scheduled on my calendar.

As you can see from my schedule, I dare to fly and go meet people directly. I would certainly love to seize business investment opportunities with my own eyes and feet.

In retrospect, my customers and business partners who I have directly contacted and met tend to have a longer-standing relationship with me.

Wonderful Encounter in Malaysia

This time, I had a wonderful encounter in Malaysia. Actually, it’s someone I met on Twitter. I had always wanted to meet him. After having several zoom chats with him, I bought a flight ticket to Kuala Lumpur without hesitation.

He is a person who has learned Japanese and built up his ability and network. Honestly speaking, I’ve never met a foreigner who speaks Japanese as well as he does.

Japan is the best place to realize its business idea.

There are many foreigners who say, “I can speak the language. I want to be a bridge between two countries.’’
However, they are somewhat flustered. I have no idea how to get along with them.

As for him, everything was different. He had a concrete business idea of what to do. Furthermore, he can answer straight as to why Japan is the Right place for that business. He also analyzes where the strengths lie from various angles.

Although business plans are always subject to changes and never fully executed.
Setting such firm conditions at the beginning of the stage is not possible without specific business experience.

You can see how US hedge funds had reportedly been told to freeze the assets of Russian billionaires.

Creating a NEW offshore now would not be a clever idea. It is like asking the US to manage it.

After all, people start to look for the current financial environment which is safe, settled, and right.

Japan seems to be a candidate among foreign investors.
