Recent changes -Spring 2023-【ENGLISH BLOG】

【Moving, a chance to change your habits】

Since I came to Singapore,
I’ve lived in Tanjong Pagar for 13 years.

I finally decided to move to
East Coast Park, the beachside near Changi Airport.
It would be the best place for my dog Sora.

What is good about East Coast Park?

Firstly , there is a big park along the beach.
Dog run there is one of our favorite places to visit on weekends.
Secondly , there are many restaurants that you can visit together with your pets.
Thirdly , a great place for jogging.
Fourthly , ”Anytime Fitness” is just around the corner.
I visit this fitness both in Japan and Singapore.

So far living here for about a week,
I see fewer Japanese living here.

Used to live very close to the office,
I was always conscious of my work life.
But now I’m away from it all for a while.

Moving is a chance to change habits.
I am excited to improve my daily habits from the changes
and bring more luck!

【Changes which I recognized from 2023 WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC】

No matter who pitched,
No matter who’s up to bat,
we got excited, touched, and thrilled by the games.

The best against the best
between Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout
was a fantastic scene!

By the way , I feel some good changes in
sports cheering activities these days.

People respect athletes more than before.
Sports athletes are also polite and humane heroes and heroines now.
Their honest attitude makes people want to cheer them more.

No need to mention,
Shohei Otani,
a nice young man
who is well-liked by everyone.

Yu Darvish,
a Japanese baseball player,
has generously shared his skills and know-how with his young teammates.
This wasn’t what I heard
in some sports games a few years ago.

In soccer and baseball games,
players clean their lockers before they leave.
Supporters also clean the bleacher before going home.

Not only in a team sports game
but also in boxing,
Naoya Inoue
always fights fair and
is a dominant champion.
When he appears on TV,
he is always tidy and pleasant.

I believe this respectful culture
makes people want to join sports cheering.

Today, I shared two big changes I felt around me recently.
Looking forward to hearing from you again soon.
